A land development regulation in Greenville County is up for discussion Tuesday night. Greenville County Council will hear the case for and against Article 3.1 of the countyâs Land Development Rule, as leaders decide whether or not they will keep it.The article requires subdivisions to have adequate infrastructure and roads and that they be compatible with environmental conditions and nearby land-use density. âI think 3.1 has some problems. Itâs very vague,â said District 17 Councilman Joe Dill. But Dill said he doesnât want to throw out the article altogether. He represents the northern section of Greenville County and said he and his constituents are worried about what its absence could do for development.
