Greenville man charged after being shot by deputy

Tyson Devlin Moody, 32, is charged with point and presenting firearms at a person, unlawful possession of a pistol, and unlawful carrying of a pistol, according to arrest warrants. He is being held at the Greenville County Detention Center, according to the State Law Enforcement Division.  Moody was injured, taken to the hospital and later released after being shot by a deputy in a confrontation early March 6, according to the Sheriff s Office. The Sheriff s Office was dispatched to 3000 Toscano Court early Saturday morning in reference to a call about someone running around on the roof of the building, according to warrants.

Suspect who escaped custody still in cuffs when captured a day later, deputies say

    Greenville, South Carolina (WHNS) Deputies say an escaped suspect is back in custody in Greenville County, and the sheriff’s office says he was still in handcuffs when found. According to dispatch, deputies responded to a call for a suspicious person just before 10 p.m. on Tuesday, February 16. The suspect had been detained but escaped and took off on foot along Anderson Road and East Wilburn Avenue. Deputies tell us the suspect is 51-year-old Willie Rodgers. After learning Mr. Rodgers had an active warrant for his arrest, a deputy reportedly placed Rodgers in cuffs and put him into the back of the patrol car.

Food Network Star and Husband Arrested And Charged With Killing Adopted Daughter

By Victor Omondi Ariel Robinson, a 29-year-old South Carolina teacher and aspiring comedian, recently emerged winner in the season 20 of the famous Food Network show “Worst Cooks in America,” which earned her $25,000. At the moment, she and her husband Jerry, who goes by Austin, are the talk of town for the purported killing of their 3-year-old adopted daughter, Victoria Rose Smith. On January 14, Victoria was instantly found insensitive at the duo’s Simpsonville home.  At around 2:30p.m., she was rushed to Greenville Memorial Hospital by paramedics where she was later proclaimed dead. After investigation, a coroner resolved that the child had died from several blunt force injuries and ruled the case a homicide. Immediately, the Robinsons were apprehended by authorities and accused of child abuse leading to death.
