Tony Neves, 79, of Cleveland, passed away on Tuesday, April 6, 2021, after suffering several strokes and battling with dementia.
Tony was born on June 5, 1941, to Juanita and Lecel in Greenville, S.C.
After graduating from Greenville High School in 1964, he studied photography at Greenville Tech, Cleveland State Community College and then Lee University, where he took advantage of the senior programs and helped many students in their photography studies. He graduated with his master s in photography in 1989.
In 1955, he met Nancy Martin, and they wed in 1962, going on to have two children: Ronnie Neves, who married Donna Gregg, and Megan Neves, who narried Jody Lischewski. Tony had two beloved granddaughters: Chloe Starshine Mize and Lily Temperance Thomas.

DARKE COUNTY While 2020 was certainly a challenging and interesting year, it has also served as a reminder to count one’s blessings and to be thankful for the good in the world.
As with many non-profits, Bridges To College was concerned how the pandemic would affect the ability to serve our community. Fundraising during normal times can be challenging for non-profits, so the concern was great. When the decision was made to postpone its annual golf fundraiser in June, The Karlh McCallister Memorial, the organization decided to call on its closest supporters for a fundraising campaign in lieu of a golf outing.
