They love snacking on fresh fruit and veggies and will “wheek” when they are excited. A staff member said, “These two are the absolute cutest! They are very outgoing and clearly very bonded. Their family will be lucky to watch them grow up and learn their personalities.”   Clover and Rowan are male guinea pigs with red and white fur and blue eyes. They are Crested guinea pigs, so their fur is short and grows in one direction except for the crest on their head. They weigh a little more than 200 grams but have more growing to do. This adorable duo must be adopted to an inside home and would thrive with older children.

Once acclimated, he’s not shy at all, and this quirky, talkative guy enjoys periods of play interspersed with lounging around with his people. He will make a perfect companion as the only kitty in a household with cat-savvy adults or quiet older kids. He has tested positive for FIV (the Feline Immunodeficiency Virus), but he is a healthy kitty and will likely have a normal lifespan as an indoor-only cat. (The virus can t be passed to dogs or to people.)

Ronnie appears to be deaf, so he will need to be trained using hand signals. He is friendly and playful and would likely get along with another dog. Ideally, he will have a yard to play in. He would be fine in a family with children old enough to respect his space.
