Greece’s Civil Aviation Authority (CAA) announced the extension of non-essential travel restriction for domestic flights until Monday, February 8, 2021 at 06:00 am. in order to protect passengers and citizens from COVID-19 disease.
In particular, the directive concerning domestic flights (regular passenger services, general aviation and commercial flights - domestic flights, commercial and general / business aviation), provides that all essential airports of the country are allowed only essential domestic travel (Essential Travel) which include travel for health issues, for business / business purposes, for objective family reasons (family reunification) and for return to permanent residence.

Greece’s Civil Aviation Authority (CA) announced on Friday the extension of aviation directives (notams) and travel restrictions for all flight passengers arriving to Greece from abroad as well as restrictions for non-EU citizens with some exceptions. The notams refer among others, to the 7-day quarantine, PLF form, negative PCR Covid-19 tests, Rapid tests upon arrival, and flight restrictions for certain countries.
The flight travel directives have been extended until Monday, February 8, 2021
Under a new notam, there is no limit on the number of passengers arriving from
Israel. The limit was 10,000 per week.

Head of Civil Protection and deputy Minister Nikos Hardalias announced on Friday the existing lockdown extension for one more week. The lockdown restrictions that were supposed to end on January 11 will be in force until 6:00 a.m. Monday, January 18, 2021, he said.
