The Major Crimes Unit (MCU) of the Royal St Vincent and the Grenadines Police Force, (RSVGPF) has launched an investigation into the disappearance of some firearms and ammunition from the armoury at the Georgetown Police Station.
A release issued by the RSVGPF Friday morning said the investigation was ordered by Commissioner of Police Colin John immediately after the discovery was made.
No further details were given.
