KETCHIKAN (KDN) â Ketchikan s tally of active COVID-19 cases dropped from 25 to 14 on Friday, and a single new case was counted by the local Emergency Operations Center.
The case involved a symptomatic individual who was tested at a local clinic, according to a Friday evening EOC press release. The individual was identified as a close contact of a known positive case.
Seven new positive test results have been recorded by the EOC within the past seven days.
Ketchikan s total number of COVID-19 cases grew to 238 on Friday, according to the EOC. All but 13 cases have involved Ketchikan residents or people who remained in Ketchikan after being tested.
