Clarkson woman has DUI wreck with 9 dogs in vehicle December 21, 2020
An intoxicated Clarkson woman has been arrested after having a DUI wreck with nine dogs in the car.
Sunday evening at approximately 6:00, Grayson County Deputy Andy Vincent and Sgt. Fred Norder, the East Grayson Fire Department and EMS responded to the 100 block of St. Paul Road, in Big Clifty, on the report of a single-vehicle accident.
Upon arriving at the scene, Vincent found that a 2001 Suzuki XL-7 Grand Vitara, being driven by 67-year-old Patricia A. Heim-Wood, was eastbound on St. Paul Road when it crossed into the westbound lane and “left the left shoulder of the roadway” as it approached a railroad crossing, according to the arrest citation. The vehicle then struck one set of tracks before coming to rest between the two sets of railroad tracks.

A Caneyville man has been arrested for fleeing from Grayson County deputies at a traffic stop.
Thursday night at midnight, Grayson County Deputy Andy Vincent executed a traffic stop on a 2008 Chevrolet Malibu after discovering the driver, 37-year-old Daron L. Fentress, had a warrant for his arrest out of Grayson County.
Soon after the stop, Sgt. Zane Greer arrived and assisted Vincent.
After confirming the driver was indeed Fentress, Vincent informed the suspect that he had a warrant for his arrest. Fentress then began behaving aggressively, according to the arrest citation, as he refused to exit the vehicle and began “punching the steering wheel multiple times.”

Seven people have been charged in a massive methamphetamine distribution conspiracy that brought at least 25 pounds of the drug to Bowling Green, and attempted to bring 40 additional pounds.
According to a federal indictment, beginning June 11, 2020, and continuing to on or about August 30, 2020, the seven defendants: Tyrecus J. Crowe, 29, of Bowling Green, Brandon Cherry, 24, of Bowling Green, George Sanchez, 26, of Los Angeles, California, Michael D. Padilla, 25, of Scottsdale, Arizona, Jeremy Quezada, 28, of Phoenix, Arizona, Andre M. Graham, and Raymond Derouse Jr., conspired to possess with intent to distribute methamphetamine.

Another of Grayson County’s Most Wanted has been captured.
Richard B. Rusher, 38, of Leitchfield, was arrested by the Elizabethtown Police Department on Thursday afternoon on North Mulberry Street.
Rusher was wanted on three counts of failure to appear on felony charges and contempt of court for failure to pay child support, according to the Grayson County Sheriff’s Office. He was lodged in the Grayson County Detention Center.
Rusher was previously arrested by Kentucky State Trooper Joey Beasley in late April 2019 after Beasley spotted Rusher standing in a yard in the 10900 block of Elizabethtown Road. At that time, Rusher was wanted on several charges in Grayson County, including second-degree burglary, theft by unlawful taking (over $10,000, less than $1 million), first-degree criminal mischief, and first-degree criminal trespassing.
