I expressed my concern about more industrial emissions given what we already have with the steel plant. I continued: “I have been told by several reliable sources that air quality decreases at night because Algoma is burning things that they don’t during the day and shouldn’t be. They do it at night because people can’t see the dark smoke. How can this be investigated further? What is being done to monitor these emissions? Are there unannounced spot checks? Again, I have been told that Algoma knows in advance when air quality will be tested.”
