In-house fighting, naughty words or bad behaviour, ignoring privacy rules or simply rubbing their council colleagues the wrong way.
These are just some of the reasons behind the numerous complaints elected members have faced so far this term.
“He has done so much for the morale and camaraderie for the group.” Milne said Roebuck was sorely missed and it would give the group more motivation for the roughly 1400 kilometre Sound to Sound Charity Cycle Ride. The group will start in Picton on March 13 and go via the West Coast, Canterbury, Otago, Southland, before finishing up in Milford Sound 11 days later.

Member Chris Milne said Keith Roebuck was one of the founding fathers of the group and is sorely missed, having died after being struck by a car in Tokoroa in November. “There’s an estimated 14,000m of climbing, and we’ll be averaging about 125km per day.”
