(ABC 6 News) - The Rochester Police Department is offering a reward for information that leads to an arrest and conviction in two cold cases.
“Our number one goal is to deliver the highest level of public safety, so when a homicide occurs in our community, we feel a deep responsibility to deliver answers and, ultimately, justice,” says Police Chief Jim Franklin.
The RPD is looking for information in the deaths of April Sorensen in 2007 and Bobby Volgmann in 2020.
April Sorensen was killed on April 17, 2007 in her home in NW Rochester. Police said a TV technician arrived for a scheduled visit at 12:30 p.m. and saw smoke coming from a window.
