Dozens gather for Whitehorse protest against COVID-19 restrictions
Roughly 40 people gathered in front of the Legislative Assembly in Whitehorse to demonstrate against continued COVID-19 restrictions as politicians and health officials condemned the protest.

Roughly 40 people gathered in front of the Yukon Legislative Assembly in Whitehorse to protest ongoing public health restrictions aimed at curbing the spread of COVID-19.
Those restrictions include a requirement to wear masks in indoor spaces, and a mandatory 14-day isolation period for new entrants to the territory.
An Accra Circuit Court hearing the case of a 38-year-old driver, Prince Osei, who is accused of kidnapping his two children has adjourned the matter to April 23.
Osei is said to have picked the kids after close of school on March 23, this year, and failed to tell the police, the whereabouts of the two children.
Osei had promised to produce them in court today. However when the matter was called and he was asked about the children, Osei informed the court that they were at the down floor of the court building.
When court ordered to ascertain whether the minors were there, they were nowhere to be found.

A 35-year old trader who defiled and impregnated a co-tenant’s daughter who is 13-year old at Kaneshie has been sentenced to 15 years imprisonment by an Accra Circuit Court.
Emmanuel Tugah, father of three, charged with defilement, pleaded guilty.
Tugah informed the court that he had had sex with the victim on three occasions without giving her money and that he was prepared to take care of her.
The court, presided over by Mrs Christina Cann, convicted Tugah on his own plea and sentenced him accordingly.
Handing down the 15-year jail term, the court said it took into consideration the age of the victim and the fact that she was pregnant and her education had been truncated.
