Hunter Biden offered a pep talk and civics lesson to a close friend who complained that unnamed Joe Biden appointees arrested him and tried to ruin my family, according to text messages obtained by the
Washington Examiner.
“Every great family is persecuted prosecuted in the US you are part of a great family not a side show not deserted by them even in your darkest moments,” Hunter Biden told business partner Devon Archer in 2019. “That’s the way Bidens are different and you are a Biden. It’s the price of power.”
Archer was arrested in 2016, when Joe Biden was still vice president, on charges of a bond sale scheme to defraud investors. He was convicted in 2018, but the case was reversed. In 2020, an appellate court reinstated the conviction. It s not clear if this case was the focus of Archer s texts.
Hunter Biden said his Secret Service detail was annoyed when he ditched them to pursue business deals in Kazakhstan, according to a batch of emails between President Joe Biden’s son and his then-Ukrainian business partner.

A prominent player behind an Obama-era electric car investment that lost taxpayers $139 million is a top investor in Proterra, the politically connected electric bus manufacturer repeatedly promoted by the Biden administration.
Venture capital behemoth Kleiner Perkins led by chairman John Doerr will hold up to 9.3 percent of Proterra shares once the company goes public in a $1.6 billion merger, according to SEC documents. President Joe Biden has publicized the company on multiple occasions following the merger announcement, going as far as touring a Proterra factory to tout his proposed $45 billion government investment in clean, zero-emissions buses.

A new report backs up news accounts that the Iranian official who was caught on a leaked audio tape saying John Kerry told him about Israeli attacks on Iranian interests in Syria insisted Kerry was his first source of information about the attacks.
Last week, The New York Times reported that Iranian Foreign Minister Mohammad Javad Zarif told an interviewer conducting an oral history project that Kerry had told him Israel had struck around 200 Iranian targets in Syria. A tape of the interview was leaked.
According to the translation published by The Times in a follow-up report, the comment came in the context of Zarif complaining Iran’s military did not give him enough information.
