Does Your Prayer Time Feel Like a Monologue?

8 Mar “My soul is in deep anguish. How long, LORD, how long? Turn, LORD, and deliver me; save me because of your unfailing love” (Psalm 6:3). “How long, LORD? Will you forget me forever? How long will you hide your face from me? How long must I wrestle with my thoughts and day after day have sorrow in my heart? How long will my enemy triumph over me?” (Psalm 13:1-2). I read through my old journals recently, from up to 10 years ago, and it catapulted me into disappointment with God. God is constantly trying to teach us our dependence, and to hold us absolutely in His hand and hanging upon His care.
