Apostle Professor Opoku Onyinah, the Immediate Past Chairman of the Church of Pentecost, says he prays for an end of the practice where parliamentary candidates share monies to delegates to vote for them. He said this was because the parliamentary candidates were supposed to be advocates for judicious use of state funds, and be national heroes in the fight against bribery and corruption, lateness and laziness towards work. Apostle Onyinah said this on Sunday when delivering a sermon at the National Thanksgiving Service, organised by the New Patriotic Party (NPP), at the Forecourt of the State House, following the Party’s victory in the 2020 general election.
Families gather around streaming church services Christmas Eve
Evan Axelbank reports
TAMPA, Fla. - Thousands of Christians across Tampa Bay celebrated Christmas Eve by watching services online. The slogan, keep Christ in Christmas, we really live like that as a family, said Myles Hahn, of South Tampa, whose family watched Christmas services online offered by Christ the King Catholic Church in South Tampa. We have been doing virtual mass for the past eight months now. We kind of just figure it s better to stay at home.
They were one of many to stream Christmas Eve live proceedings, which included Grace Family Church on Gandy Blvd.

Photojournalists get to see incredible things. The Tulsa World s photo department of six has a combined 150 years of experience, so weâve all covered events both big and small. But this year was different.Â
As I answered phone calls and texts while working with photographers in the field, I kept hearing: âIâve never seen this before.â
Mike Simons and Ian Maule were on an Interstate 244 overpass with Black Lives Matter protesters when a pickup driver drove through the crowd. They were there when Tulsa Police and protesters clashed in Tulsa s Brookside neighborhood and when tear gas was launched near Woodland Hills Mall.Â
Just what is so wrong with Mr. Becerra? Well, his radical position on abortion, for starters.
Unlike most Americans who support common sense limits on abortion and try to balance the mother’s freedom of choice with her child’s right to live, Mr. Becerra is aggressively pro-abortion. He’s been that way since the start of his political career. From voting against requiring parental notification when a minor girl is trafficked across state lines to procure an abortion to voting in favor of both gruesome late-term partial birth abortion and discriminatory sex-selective abortions, he has come through 100 percent for the abortion lobby. His rating from NARAL and Planned Parenthood? A-plus.
