Christian County’s active COVID-19 case total grew again Thursday with a record 733 people currently infected with the virus.
The Christian County Health Department reported 36 additional cases from Wednesday although Thursday’s report did not give a breakdown of the age demographics.
Christian County ranks 12th in the state in total COVID cases with 3,711. Its incidence rate of 48.7 new cases per 100,000 population over the past seven days ranks 60 among 120 Kentucky counties.

The Christian County Health Department reported 72 new cases of COVID-19 locally from Monday to Tuesday.
That follows a weekend that saw 101 new cases, and brings the overall total locally up to 3,604 of that, 663 cases are considered active and 2,891 people have recovered from the illness.

The Christian County Health Department reported 101 new confirmed coronavirus cases over a three-day period from Friday to Monday afternoon.
Forty-six of those cases were from Saturday, eight on Sunday and 47 were recorded Monday. It means there are now 663 active cases and 2,817 of 3,532 total cases have already recovered.
