The Christian County Public School System is heading full steam towards the ended of a school year full of pandemic complications, with in-person graduation remaining a goal.
Superintendent Chris Bentzel spoke with WHOP News Tuesday, saying that they have seen a small spike in active COVID-19 cases in the district since their return from spring break.
Bentzel did note that of the seven staff members who tested positive, none of them had received a vaccine and he says they do continue to see more and more staff who sign up to get one. He urged parents and students to keep an eye out for any symptoms and if you feel ill to stay at home he knows everyone is beyond COVID fatigued at this point, but they have to keep going a little longer.
