A Hopkinsville man was arrested at around 1:20 a.m. Thursday following a pursuit that began on Cadiz Road and ended on Walnut Street, according to a Christian County Sheriffâs Office press release.
The release states deputies spotted a vehicle driving on Cadiz Road with expired tags and attempted to conduct a traffic stop, but the driver refused to stop and began to attempt to flee deputies.
Deputies with the help of Hopkinsville police officers pursued the vehicle through downtown Hopkinsville and were able to stop the vehicle at Walnut Street by using spike strips to disable the vehicle, according to the release.
A Nebraska man was arrested at around 5 p.m. Tuesday following a pursuit that started and ended on the Pennyrile Parkway, according to a Christian County Sheriffâs Office press release.
The release states that Quillan Cannon, 29, Blair, Nebraska, had allegedly burglarized a home at around the 1000 block Crofton Fruit Hill Road Tuesday afternoon and was spotted by a Kentucky State Police trooper at about 5 p.m. driving on the Pennyrile Parkway.
As the trooper attempted to stop the vehicle, Cannon allegedly attempted to flee. A short time later, county deputies joined the pursuit and were able to stop the vehicle at about the 15-mile marker.

The Christian County Sheriff’s Department was attempting to serve a warrant Wednesday night and would arrest the man in question for drug charges.
Deputy Scott Noisworthy went to a home on Davis Road to serve a warrant against 51-year old Raymond Scott Lance of Nortonville and a news release says he resisted and an altercation ensued in the garage.
Lance as eventually arrested and a search of his person allegedly turned up marijuana, methamphetamine and a syringe.
Lance was served with the warrant for failing to appear in court and was charged with resisting arrest, disorderly conduct, possession of marijuana and meth and possession of drug paraphernalia.

The Christian County Sheriff’s Department arrested a Nebraska man Tuesday following a pursuit on the Pennyrile Parkway and a burglary on Crofton-Fruit Hill Road.
According to a news release, 29-year old Quillan Cannon of Blair, Nebraska is alleged to have burglarized a home in the 1000 block of Crofton-Fruit Hill Road and was later seen operating a vehicle on the Pennyrile Parkway around 5 p.m. A Kentucky State Police Trooper spotted the vehicle matching the description traveling southbound on the Pennyrile Parkway and attempted to stop the vehicle. The vehicle refused to stop for authorities and proceeded to flee.
