Five people were sentenced on felony charges recently in Southeast District Court in Jamestown.
Christopher Peters, 30, Jamestown, pleaded guilty to possession of certain materials prohibited, a Class C felony.
Peters was accused of possessing about 55 videos depicting sexual conduct by a minor or minors on Nov. 16, 2019.
Judge Troy LeFevre sentenced Peters to five years in the North Dakota Department of Corrections and Rehabilitation with credit for 49 days served. Peters was placed on two years supervised probation.
A Class C felony is punishable by five years in prison and a $19,000 fine.
