This despite the fact that in Luxembourg, the Labour Code provides that Sunday work is limited to four hours. Since then, negotiations between the Luxembourg Confederation of Christian Trade Unions (LCGB), the Independent Luxembourg Trade Union Confederation (OGBL), and the Luxembourg Confederation of Commerce (CLC) to extend the Sunday working time of employees have not led to any agreement. Ahead of the relocation to Bucharest, Pfizer plans to lay off 38 at its distribution center in Zaventem, out of 238 currently employed, the trade union confederation said in a press release on Thursday.
