Updated: 11:07 PM EST Feb 12, 2021 WXII12.com Web Staff The Greensboro Police Department arrested a 32-year-old man Friday in the early February death of Sanka Delayne Perry.Police said the Violent Criminal Apprehension Team located and arrested Noland Lloyd Coles III, of Greensboro. He is charged with first-degree murder, possession of a firearm by a felon, felony breaking and entering and first-degree kidnapping. He is being held without bail in the Guilford County Jail. Police said they responded to the 300 block of Avalon Road in reference to a 911 unknown call at 12:10 a.m on Feb. 4.When police arrived, they found Perry, 43, suffering from unknown injuries. The victim was taken to a local hospital, where she later died.

GREENSBORO, N.C. Greensboro police say a man was killed in a hit-and-run crash Monday night.
According to a report, Jonathan Emmanuel Smith, 26, was walking on Summit Avenue near Cody Avenue around 8:30 p.m. Police said Smith was hit by a truck that didn t stop. Smith was taken to a nearby hospital where he died.
Police said a witness described the suspect vehicle as a white truck leaving the scene north on Summit Avenue. Investigators believe debris from the truck is from a Ford or Dodge vehicle.

GREENSBORO, N.C. A man is on the run after he hit and killed a woman outside Choppers Bar Saturday, according to police.
Greensboro police say Donald Bruton hit Angela Haith just after midnight.
Police say Bruton was driving recklessly and carelessly in the parking lot when he ran over Haith. He then took off.
Police found her dead in the parking lot from the impact.
