MEMPHIS, Tenn. (AP) Justise Winslow had season highs with 25 points and 13 rebounds, and the Memphis Grizzlies held on to defeat the Sacramento Kings 107-106 on Friday night.
Killian Tillie and Xavier Tillman each had 16 points for Memphis, with Tillman adding 10 rebounds. John Konchar finished with 15 points as the Grizzlies won their fifth straight.
Louis King led the Kings with a career-high 27 points and Damian Jones added 17 points and 11 rebounds. Justin James scored 16 after scoring a career-high 31 in Sacramento’s loss to Memphis on Thursday night.

It wasn’t pretty, but the Grizzlies kept the momentum going by winning their fifth straight game in a win over the Sacramento Kings, 107-106. The win also put the Grizzlies at a clean .500 at home for the season going 18-18. Now the Grizzlies look ahead to Sunday’s ‘Winner Takes the 8’ against Golden State.
When I saw the injury report with the Grizzlies starting lineup all out, I wasn’t too surprised, but was also a tad excited. First, you saw how deep the Grizzlies are, as 8 players were out, and De’Anthony Melton still came off the bench. Also, it gave some of the guys who don’t play often, some decent run in regular season action.
