Clackamas High School students meet up in virtual lunchroom Sports teams meet online regularly, and some are able to organize workouts together. Clackamas is among high schools across the nation trying to provide a space for kids to have the interactions they need as adolescents in a virtual world. High school leaders have opened a virtual lunchroom each week, when students come and select a table and hang out and visit with each other. CHS also has a monthly group of student athletic leaders who meet online. Even in an online format, student athletes generally have a formal topic or presenter as part of their efforts to bring kids together outside of class schedules. CHS sports teams meet virtually to maintain some sense of team, and some teams are able to organize tightly regulated workouts together. Those are all outdoors and follow all OSAA rules, according to Assistant Principal Assistant Principal Joel Dunn.
