Oregon City officer, suspect injured after pursuit, shooting
An officer-involved shooting left an Oregon City police officer and a suspect injured Saturday.
The names of the officer and suspect were not immediately available.
According to the Clackamas County Sheriff s Office, officers were involved in a vehicle pursuit around 6:46 p.m. on May 8 that ended at the I-205 North onramp from Hwy 213 near Oregon City.
The suspect was treated at a hospital and released to investigators, while the Oregon City officer suffered serious but not life-threatening injuries, the CCSO tweeted.
Parts of Highway 213 were closed during the investigation.

A 21-year-old man died after shots were fired at a house party in the Lents neighborhood early Sunday morning.
At 12:57 a.m., Portland Police officers responded to a report of gunshots at a house in the 8500 block of Southeast Harney Street.
Officers responding to the scene found a large crowd attending a house party, the Portland Police Bureau (PPB) said. Clackamas County Sheriff s Office deputies responded to assist with the crowd.
PPB on Monday identified the victim as 21-year-old Jemare Lowell Manns. The medical examiner determined Manns died in a homicide by gun shot.

A man was found dead early Sunday morning at the scene of what Portland Police say appeared to be a house party in the Lents neighborhood.

One man was found dead after shots were fired at a party in the Lents neighborhood early Sunday morning, according to Portland Police. East Precinct officers responded at 12:57 a.m. to a report that shots were fired at a house in the 8500 block of Southeast Harney Street, police said in a statement.
Officers found “a chaotic scene, with what appeared to be a house party underway” and a large crowd, according to police. Clackamas County Sheriff’s Office deputies also responded. An adult male was found unconscious, and though Portland Fire and Rescue and American Medical Response Paramedics responded and attempted lifesaving measures, the man died, according to police.
