295 New Cases, Seven Area COVID Related Deaths Tuesday
The Adams County Health Department Tuesday announced the deaths of two more Adams County residents due to COVID-19 related illness, a female in her 80s and a female in her 90s.
Officials also reported 159 new confirmed cases of coronavirus Tuesday, bringing their case total to 6,311, with 550 active, 58 hospitalized age 20s to 90s, seven in ICU and now 69 deaths.
Along with Adams County’s 159 new cases and two deaths, health department officials in western Illinois reported an additional 44 new COVID cases and two deaths Tuesday.
The Hancock County Health Department reported 23 new lab confirmed coronavirus cases Tuesday, running their case total to 1,322, with 251 isolated, four hospitalized and 26 deaths.
LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WDRB) Silver Creek School Corporation announced its re-opening plan for the Spring 2021 semester.
On Monday, the district held a meeting with the Clark County Health Department to discuss the terms of re-opening for in-person learning. In a letter posted to Facebook, the district said upon reviewing COVID-19 information and data, the district will re-open for in-person learning on January 5, 2021. Kindergarten through 12th grade students continuing to learn virtually will follow the same structure as the previous semester for online learning. Transportation and food services for the semester will operate as normal.Â
Middle and high school extracurricular activities will see no changes to current guidelines. Community use of the Silver Creek School Corporation facilities will also have no changes to current guidelines. Protocol and safety practices from before the original shift to e-learning will be in place during the semester.Â
211 New Cases, Three More Area COVID Deaths Monday
Northeast Missouri health departments reported 137 new coronavirus cases and three additional COVID related deaths Monday.
The three deaths were reported by the Marion County Health Department, who also reported 59 new COVID cases Monday. Their case total is now 2,962, with 238 active, 22 hospitalized and now 49 deaths.
The Lewis County Health Department reported 43 new coronavirus cases since Thursday, bringing their total to 856, with 77 active and 13 deaths.
Officials in Ralls County reported 31 new COVID cases since last Wednesday. Their case total is now 845, with four hospitalized and nine deaths.
The Clark County Health Department reported four new coronavirus cases since Wednesday, running their total cases to 564, with nine active and 21 deaths.
