Lewis and Clark Regional Water Mourns Loss of Chairman

Tea, SD (KICD)– A South Dakota based water system with plans to serve parts of Northwest Iowa is mourning the loss of it longtime chairman.
Lennis “Red” Arndt of Luverne was an original board member of Lewis and Clark Regional Water when its first incorporated in early 1990 and became chairman in 2006 overseeing construction on water lines that will eventually serve customers in Sioux Center, Hull, Sheldon and Sibley.
Executive Director Troy Larson says “although his nickname was Red, he bled Lewis and Clark blue and was a visionary who understood he part of a legacy-type project that will have a profound impact on the region for many generations to come.”
