Land institute to feature virtual tour of Clark Freeport

SunStar + May 12, 2021 CLARK Freeport is set to be featured in a live virtual tour session at this year s Urban Land Institute (ULI) Asia Pacific Summit. The virtual tour on May 24, 2021, will give ULI members a glimpse of Clark Freeport s various investment and tourism facilities. It will also include a presentation about the master plans for Clark International Airport, New Clark City and the Clark Freeport Zone. During the activity, there will also be a 25-minute question-and-answer (Q&A) session. The online Q&A will feature panelists, including Clark Development Corporation President and Chief Executive Officer (CEO) Manuel Gaerlan, Luzon International Premier Airport Development Corp. President and CEO Bi Yong Chungunco, and Bases Conversion and Development Authority representative Karen Tham.

PBA not keen on holding another bubble season

Published May 9, 2021, 11:17 AM The PBA is now more lukewarm to the idea of holding another bubble, especially after the government allowed the league to hold 5-on-5 scrimmages in areas under General Community Quarantine. PBA commissioner Willie Marcial said another bubble will pose more difficulty for the league, something that the Inter-Agency Task Force may have considered in relaxing the protocols on practices. “Sana wag na,” Marcial said when asked of the chances of staging another bubble following the IATF decision. “Sinabi ko din sa IATF na di na namin kaya mag-bubble. LIST: More foreigners allowed to enter PH starting May 1

endIndex: Metro Manila (CNN Philippines, April 30) After being barred from entering the country for over a month, some foreign nationals can again come starting May 1, subject to conditions, Presidential spokesman Harry Roque said Friday. The entry ban on most foreigners, which was imposed on March 22 due to rising COVID-19 cases, is set to end April 30. All travelers from India and those who went to India preceding their arrival to the Philippines are barred from entering the country until May 14 as a safeguard against virus spread that may be caused by the massive surge in COVID-19 cases in the South Asian country.
