Police seek help finding runaway juvenile in Clarksville

CLARKSVILLE, TN (CLARKSVILLE NOW) – Police are asking for the public’s help locating a runaway juvenile. Stephon Smalls, 17, left his Cobblestone Lane residence at about 4 p.m. on Monday, May 10, according to Clarksville Police Detective Michael Patterson. He was last seen wearing a gray hooded sweatshirt and light gray sweatpants. Stephon is 6-foot-2, 200 pounds, with black hair and brown eyes. Clarksville man charged with attempted murder in February shooting at Dover Road gas station

CLARKSVILLE, TN (CLARKSVILLE NOW) – Attempted murder charges have been brought in the investigation of an attempted armed robbery at the Exxon Hi Road at Dover Crossing that resulted in the shooting of a gas station clerk in February. According to a news release from Clarksville Police Detective Michael Patterson, 21-year-old Queonte’ Turner-Pinnix has been charged with first-degree attempted murder, aggravated attempted robbery, weapon possession as a convicted felon and employ firearm intent to go armed in relation to the shooting. Turner-Pinnix was being held at the Montgomery County Jail on unrelated charges.

Clarksville NowCourtesy CPDChristopher Stewart, 47 CLARKSVILLE, TN (CLARKSVILLE NOW) – The body found in the Cumberland River near the Smith Branch Boat Ramp just south of Clarksville on April 26 has been identified that of missing 47-year-old Christopher Stewart. Stewart was reported missing on April 20, and had not been heard from since April 10, when he was walking in the 500 block of Riverside Drive around 11 p.m., according to a news release from Clarksville Police Detective Michael Patterson. At about 3:25 p.m. on April 26, barge crews reported seeing a body in the river near the Smith Branch Boat Ramp, according to Montgomery County Sheriff’s Office spokeswoman Sandra Brandon.
