AT&T releases Second Outage Update on December 27th   Nashville, TN – Progress continues on our restoration efforts today, Monday, December 27th, 2020. More than 75% of mobility sites affected by the explosion on Friday have now been restored and we expect additional improvements as more equipment comes back online. Mobility service in the Birmingham and Huntsville, Alabama areas is now operating normally. We continue to connect generator power to equipment and refuel generators as needed. We expect to activate power to at least four additional floors of the building during the day today and are working on the cooling equipment to manage the temperatures in the facility. Teams are assessing equipment on the building’s lower floors for any damage caused by the flooding of the building.

AT&T outage interrupts 911 service in Montgomery County

An AT&T outage on Christmas Day led to an outage of Montgomery County s 911 system and non-emergency number, the Montgomery County Sheriff s Office announced Friday afternoon. If emergency assistance is needed in Clarksville-Montgomery County, call 931-648-5702. The temporary emergency number will remain active after the 911 system returns to operation.  Dispatchers may ask questions that normally populate on calls  your phone number, address and other identifying information. The outage has impacted communities as far as Kentucky, including Fort Campbell. The main number to use on Fort Campbell for emergencies is 270-798-7111. Other numbers are 270-798-7112, 270-798-7113 and 270-798-7114.
