The international team of scientists, led by Glasgow Caledonian University, found just three minutes of moderate exercise for each hour of the day you spend sitting could cut early fatalities by up to 30%.

While the general recommendation is 30 minutes of moderate to vigorous activity every day, all this good work can be undone if we spend too much time sitting down.
