With her mischievous chuckle and gregarious personality, the little girl is the light of her parent’s lives. But Freya - who turns four-and-a-half on Christmas Eve - arrived in the world 13 weeks early weighing just 1lb 9oz. Her mum and dad, Shona and Graeme, had wanted a surprise but asked doctors to tell them if the baby was a boy or a girl so they could choose a name in case she didn’t survive.

First team stars Callum McGregor and Leigh Griffiths were among those to join in today s Zoom calls KIND-HEARTED Celtic players brought Christmas cheer to sick children in Glasgow - while the club s charity wing made a generous donation to a good cause. Members of the Hoops first team squad took part in a series of video calls with kids at the Royal Hospital for Children after covid restrictions put a stop to their usual in-person get together. The East End team s generosity didn t stop there with £10,000 handed over to Glasgow Children’s Hospital Charity by the Celtic FC Foundation. Club captain Scott Brown said: We realise this can be a very difficult time for children and their families who are in hospital at this time of year, even more so, given the difficulties which the pandemic has presented.

MGA Entertainment is to donate a portion of the sales from its new limited-edition LOL Surprise MGAE Cares Frontline Hero doll to a number of children’s hospital charities around the UK and Republic of Ireland.
The move is part of the MGA Entertainment Cares programme, a global effort that was launched by the firm’s CEO Isaac Larian in April this year in order to provide essential support and PPE to healthcare workers and facilities on the frontline of the fight against Covid-19.
Hospital charities that will receive donations from the programme include Birmingham Children’s Hospital Charity, Royal Manchester Children’s Hospital Charity, Glasgow Children’s Hospital Charity, Children in Hospital Ireland, and MGA UK HQ’s hospital, Milton Keynes Hospital Charity.
