St. Lawrence County Public Health Department officials say there were 14 new cases of COVID-19 reported in the county on Tuesday, May 11.
There are 85 active cases with one of them hospitalized.

Health officials said 7,110 cases have been released from isolation and 96 have died of the illness.
County hospitals have performed 315,313 tests for COVID-19 as of Monday, the most recent date for which data was available. So far, there have been a total of 7,291 confirmed coronavirus cases in St. Lawrence County.

St. Lawrence County Public Health Department officials say there were nine new cases of COVID-19 reported in the county on Monday, May 10, and another 25 over the weekend.
There are 83 active cases with one of them hospitalized.

CANTON – St. Lawrence County’s Board of Health president offered five of what he described as compelling reasons to get vaccinated for those undecided or hesitant to the COVID-19 vaccine.
Dr. Andrew Williams spoke during the Monday, May 3 Board of Legislators meeting.
He said the county is making good progress with overall vaccination numbers. He said that availability and access aren’t the biggest obstacles to herd immunity. It’s hesitancy.
He said the risk of complications from the coronavirus is far greater than complications from the vaccine, which are mild to moderate and generally wane in a day or so.
