HealthFirst for Clinton County announces next grant cycle

WILMINGTON – HealthFirst for Clinton County a community foundation which awards grants worth thousands of dollars to community health-related projects announces the organization’s next grant cycle beginning at 8 a.m. Monday, March 15.
Clinton County-based 501(c)3 organizations, government entities, non-profit organizations, and otherwise tax-exempt groups that work to promote the good health of residents in Clinton County are eligible to apply.
HealthFirst for Clinton County will accept letters of intent until Monday, April 26. The grant platform where the letter of intent will be available can be found on either the HealthFirst for Clinton County or Clinton County Foundation websites.

WILMINGTON The Legacy Fund grant cycle opened on Monday, Feb. 1. The first step in the grant process is a letter of intent summarizing the applicant’s project, determining the community need and alignment to the Legacy Fund’s mission to support the health, wellbeing and safety of Clinton County residents.
The Legacy Fund utilizes an electronic grant application through the Clinton County Foundation website. WILMINGTON – The Health Alliance of Clinton County held its Annual Retreat on Tuesday, Jan. 12 at Snow Hill Country Club.
President Staci Close welcomed new and returning board members Connie Mason, Betty Lou Germann, Linda Madison, Jennifer Hollon, Treasurer Pat Richardson, Cindy Petrich, Kay Fisher, Ann Johnson, Bobbi Jo Schlaegel, Secretary Mary Camp, Dorothy Henry, Joann Chamberlain, Kathy Havey, Frances Sharp and Vice President Patti Cook.
The Retreat is a day-long planning session to review the results of our fundraisers in the past year, and to discuss new opportunities to sponsor events for the new year.
