CCHD: Next phone bank for COVID-19 vaccination scheduling for ages 65 & up

WILMINGTON – The Clinton County Health District (CCHD) will host its next phone bank to schedule COVID-19 vaccination appointments for those 65 and older.
Friday, Feb. 5 beginning at 9 a.m. and ending at 11 a.m., Clinton County residents may call (937) 382-3829, option 0 (zero) for appointments for the week of Feb. 8.
Please note:
• If you do not reach a staff member, please hang up and call again.
• If you or your loved one is not 65 or older, please do not call for an appointment. Doing so takes away resources to serve those that are not comfortable using computer technology.

The Clinton County Health District’s COVID-19 vaccination appointments for next week for residents age 70 and up have all been booked as of 11 a.m., according to Health Commissioner Pamela Walker-Bauer.
The phone bank for scheduling those appointments had begun at 9 a.m. Friday.

WILMINGTON – The Clinton County Health District (CCHD) will host its next phone bank to schedule COVID-19 vaccination appointments for those individuals 70 years old and older.
Beginning at 9 a.m. Friday, Jan. 29, Clinton County residents may call 937-382-3829, option 0 (zero) for appointments for the week of Feb. 1. Please note:
• Do not leave a message, we will be unable to return your call.
• If you do not reach a staff member, please hang up and call again.
• If you or your loved one is not age 70 and older, please do not call for an appointment. Doing so takes away resources to serve those that are not comfortable using computer technology.

WILMINGTON The Clinton County Health District advises local residents ages 70 and older to NOT call them at this time to schedule COVID-19 vaccination appointments.
“We cannot schedule anyone until we know how much vaccine we will receive next week and have been able to plan for each POD (Point of Dispensing) accordingly,” said Health Director Pamela Walker-Bauer. She will advise the public as soon as more information is known and scheduling can resume.
It was originally announced that locals could call this week to schedule.
“I suspect the other vaccine providers are experiencing the same challenges,” she said.
