LOCK HAVEN Last week the Clinton County commissioners told the county’s local hospitality industry to “stay tuned” for more information about the $437,000 state funding coming their way.
They kept their word and at Monday’s work session.
Clinton County Planning Director Katie de Silva provided more information about the COVID-19 Hospitality Industry Recover Program (CHIRP) through the state Department of Community and Economic Development.
The money is earmarked for qualified hotels, restaurants, taverns and other businesses in the hospitality industry who have incurred losses from the pandemic. Clinton County’s Tourist Industry was heard at Monday’s work session of the Clinton County Commissioners.
