Lifting of public health orders should boost Indians crowds, nudge Ohio closer to normal CLEVELAND, Ohio – Life should look a bit different in Ohio starting today. You may stop in for breakfast at your favorite restaurant and find all the chairs and tables back to the way they used to be more than a year ago. You might be worshipping a little closer to your fellow parishioners. And the stands should be fuller at your favorite sporting event. Simply put, we won’t have to be treating others as if they had, well . . . a communicable disease. That’s because many of Gov. Mike DeWine’s health orders to combat the coronavirus were rescinded as of June 2, including those pertaining to masks and social distancing, although they will remain in place for nursing homes and assisted-living facilities.

Author: WKYC Staff Updated: 3:27 PM EDT June 1, 2021 CLEVELAND As the state of Ohio prepares to lift its health orders Wednesday, many local businesses and organizations are making changes to previously implemented COVID-19 policies and procedures.  The Cleveland Museum of Art (CMA) announced Tuesday that it will no longer require masks for vaccinated visitors and will discontinue temperature screenings and advance general admission ticketing beginning June 2.  The museum is recommending that all visitors continue to wear face coverings while inside the facility, however they do acknowledge that under CDC guidelines and advice from public health officials, vaccinated Ohioans can forego wearing masks both indoors and outdoors.
