This week, the CDC and FDA approved COVID-19 vaccines for children ages 12 to 15.  Though health officials’ goal is to have everyone vaccinated against the coronavirus, many parents have been reluctant to have their children get the vaccine. Here’s a look at how many Cleveland County residents, young and old, have rolled up their sleeves thus far:  Number of residents vaccinated  To date, 32.8% of Cleveland County residents have received at least one dose of the vaccine, and 29.5% of Cleveland County residents are fully vaccinated.   That puts the county behind the state which has 40.2% of North Carolina residents having received at least one dose of the vaccine, and 35.3% of North Carolina residents being fully vaccinated.
