Millions of Americans who got the Pfizer or Moderna Covid-19 vaccines have missed the second dose, according to the U.S. Centers for Disease Control and Prevention.
The CDC says 8%, or more than 5 million people, have not or will not get their second shot to be fully inoculated against the coronavirus. The New York Times reports in many cases, people skipped the second dose by choice, such as concerns about side effects, or because of supply issues.
