The Ohio Department of Health is switching off the online COVID-19 map which showed the spread of the disease, county-by-county during the pandemic. Ohio Dept of Health Director Stephanie McCloud says with lower numbers of positive cases, the maps are not as helpful.

The number of Ohioans age 16 and older getting their initial coronavirus vaccinations jumped 33% week over week after the state announced its Vax-a-Million lottery. State health department data shows more than 119,000 people age 16 and older got a shot from May 13 to May 19.
