CROPWELL The St. Clair County Sheriff’s Office made an arrest after investigating several vehicle break-ins in the River Oaks area of Cropwell.
The sheriff’s office said residents reported personal items were stolen from their vehicles, including several firearms.
Sheriff Billy Murray said investigators located a suspect at 298 River Oaks Drive, in Cropwell. He was charged with unlawful breaking and entering a vehicle and was placed in the St. Clair County Jail on a $10,000 bond.
The suspect has been identified as Dennis A. Lindsey, Jr., 33, of Anniston.
The St. Clair County Criminal Investigation Division worked the case.

A Port Huron man has been arraigned on multiple drug related charges. The St. Clair County Sheriff’s Office says an investigation into the sale of narcotics int he local area lead authorities to the 2600 block of South Boulevard in the City of Port Huron last Friday. Members of the Drug Task force arrested 31 year old Matthew Kimbrough and seized approximately $24,000 dollars in cash, two handguns, and small quantities meth and promethazine. A 29 year old woman was also arrested and later released.

ST. CLAIR COUNTY - Ala. (WBRC) - A man was arrested for trafficking drugs following a traffic stop on Jan. 23 around 5:30 a.m.
The St. Clair County Sheriff’s Office says officers observed a vehicle traveling eastbound on I-20 making a traffic infraction.
Officers conducted a traffic stop on the vehicle, and upon a search recovered 32 individually wrapped THC edibles, approximately 6 pounds of marijuana and approximately one pound of THC wax.
