COLDWATER, MI (WTVB) – A Coldwater woman is facing six misdemeanor charges after her neighbor in the 200 block of Pelton Avenue complained to Coldwater Police that her two dogs attacked him twice in late February.
According to Branch County court documents, 33-year-old Rachel Natasha Mikovic-Day is facing two counts each of failure to license and register a dog, dog at large and harboring a vicious animal.
She was arraigned on Tuesday in Branch County District Court and not guilty pleas were entered on her behalf.
The two dogs are five and seven year old Dogo Argentinos. Mikovic-Day is accused of not having a Branch County dog license for either one.

The two dogs are Dogo Argentinos. The seven-year-old named Jax and the five-year-old named Drako came into the yard of Russell Maxwell, 49, at his home at 248 Pelton Ave.
Maxwell was trying to carry his groceries from his car to his house when the dog became aggressive and Drako ripped a bag.
Later, when he went to the Mikovic-Day home at 242 Pelton Ave., to tell her her dogs were loose, he knocked on her door.

BETHEL TOWNSHIP, MI (WTVB) â An Angola, Indiana man charged in connection with a brief high speed chase in two counties last October was booked into the Branch County Jail last Friday.
40-year-old Russell Toon is facing Branch County charges of third degree fleeing and eluding and a second offense of driving while his license was suspended.
He was arraigned last Friday in Branch County District Court where his bond was set at $25,000.
The pursuit started in Bethel Township and ended south of Lake Pleasant in Steuben County. Toon was wanted on a Branch County fugitive warrant at the time. Police say speeds reached as high as almost 110 miles an hour.
