Teen sentenced in deaths of Auburn announcer Rod Bramblett, wife Paula
Updated Apr 28, 2021;
The 18-year-old charged in the crash that killed Auburn announcer Rod Bramblett and his wife, Paula, was sentenced Wednesday.
The length of sentence for Johnston Edward Taylor, however, is not being released because he was granted youthful offender status earlier this month. The youthful offender status eliminated a jury trial and left his maximum punishment at three years.
Because of the confidentiality of the status, Taylor’s online records are no longer public. His attorney, Tommy Spina, said after sentencing, “The sentence was fair and balanced in light of all facts and circumstances.”
