Emergency services responded to reports of an incident on Banham Road, Beccles. Police, the East of England Ambulance Service Trust (EEAST) and the East Anglian Air Ambulance (EAAA) were called out just before 2pm on Saturday, February 20. A police spokesman said: A man believed to be aged in his 70s had fallen off his bicycle and the road was blocked. Tributes to Lotus worker John Mountain of Hethersett

Tributes have poured in for John Mountain from Hethersett who worked for Lotus. - Credit: Viv Mountain A Norfolk man with “the magic touch” who worked for Lotus for over 20 years has died. Tributes have poured in for John Mountain from Hethersett whose nickname was “Magic” because of his ability to take virtually anything apart and put it together again. John, who was 65, died suddenly in the Norfolk and Norwich University Hospital on February 16. John Mountain worked for Lotus and was involved in designing audio systems with Blaupunkt, electrical systems for General Motors in Detroit and working on the Delorean sports car in Belfast amongst other projects.

Air ambulance at Gippeswyk Park Ipswich medical emergency | East Anglian Daily Times

The air ambulance landed in Ipswich last night to respond to a medical emergency. - Credit: Alex A man has been taken to Ipswich Hospital after suffering a medical emergency at a home near Gippeswyk Park. Two ambulances, the Suffolk Accident Rescue Service (SARS), the East Anglian Air Ambulance and a community first responder all attended the medical emergency at a property in Barnard Square shortly after 4pm on Sunday.  Pictures taken by a passer-by showed the air ambulance landing at Gippeswyk Park in the south west of the town. The onlooker said the ambulance left the area shortly after 6pm with its blue lights on.
