The Patriots selected Jones with the 15th overall pick in this year s NFL draft. The University of Alabama product led the Crimson Tide to a perfect 13-0 record and a national championship in 2020. The 22-year-old completed 77.4% of his passes in 2020 for 4,500 yards, 41 touchdowns and four interceptions.The Jacksonville, Florida, native was a consensus First Team All-American as a redshirt junior and earned the 2020 Davey O Brien Award, which is given to the top quarterback in college football.
