Two nurses involved in the incident at Randwick s Prince of Wales Hospital were found guilty of unsatisfactory professional conduct last month. The complaint against the senior nurse was found to be sufficiently serious to justify suspension or cancellation of her registration . Nurse Nelley Youssef was found guilty of unsatisfactory professional conduct and professional misconduct in relation to a patient’s death at Prince of Wales Hospital.

Detoxologie: Warning for customers of Sydney wellness centre over infection fears

South Eastern Sydney Local Health District has issued an alert for clients of Detoxologie in Bondi Junction. People should see their GP if they had colonic irrigation, skin needling, allergy or other blood testing, intravenous infusion or vitamin injections at the centre between June 2013 and December 2020. NSW Health said there is the potential for HIV and hepatitis B and C infections.
