A killer truck driver jailed for decades over the death of four police officers on Melbourne s Eastern Freeway has told a court that his boss urged him to say nothing to no-one in the moments after the deadly smash.

In a stunning new police statement tendered in the Melbourne Magistrates Court, Mohinder Singh has revealed that he called his former boss immediately after ploughing into the police officers last April, and said that he fell asleep at the wheel.
