JACKSON, Miss. (WLBT) - The East Mississippi Correctional Facility is investigating the death of two inmates.
Officers say they found Fritz Garcia, 65, and Terry Walker, 46, unresponsive in their cells on May 1.
According to authorities, no foul play is suspected.
Garcia was serving a life sentence for homicide in Hancock County, while Walker was serving a 15-year sentence for armed robbery in Lowndes County.
Once an autopsy is completed, officials will learn the causes and manners of death.

MERIDIAN, Miss. (AP) An autopsy will be done on a 25-year-old Mississippi inmate who died in a privately run prison.
Brandon Mitchell was found unresponsive in his cell Saturday at East Mississippi Correctional Facility, according to a news release from the private prison company Management & Training Corporation. The release said medical workers administered CPR but could not revive him. Paramedics arrived shortly thereafter and pronounced Mitchell dead.
Mitchell was serving a 10-year sentence for conviction of delivery of a controlled substance and attempted robbery in Harrison County. He was sentenced in December 2013.

JACKSON, Miss. (WLBT) - An inmate at the East Mississippi Correctional Facility was reported dead on Saturday, April 23.
At approximately 6:15 a.m., officers were called to a housing unit at the facility where they found Brandon Mitchell, an inmate, unresponsive in his cell.
Medical staff arrived soon after and administered CPR but were unable to revive him. Paramedics arrived a short time later. Mitchell was later pronounced dead. It was not clear what treatment paramedics provided.
