Two men were killed in separate shootings Saturday in Columbus as the city approaches the grim milestone of 100 homicides for the year. As of Sunday, Columbus has now reached 98 homicides this year, far ahead of the 58 killings at this point in 2020. Last year a record deadly year in Columbus with 176 homicides it wasn t until Sept. 6 that the 98th homicide was reached. Police have not yet identified suspects nor reported any arrests in either shooting.
