BELCHERTOWN Two Brooklyn, New York residents are in police custody on a series of drug-related charges after town police officers and firefighters Monday morning discovered an entire Belchertown home converted into a marijuana-growing operation.
With 800 marijuana plants, a growing apparatus and $2,500 in cash seized from the 24 West St. property after police obtained a search warrant, Can Hui Wu, 57, and Huoqiu Wu, 60, the only people present at the home, were arrested on charges of cultivation of marijuana, conspiracy to violate drug laws and possession with intent to distribute a class D substance, according to police.

WARE - A 40-year-old Ware resident is facing multiple drug charges after police found crack cocaine, heroin and oxycodone Wednesday in narcotics raid at her Glendale Circle residence, police said.
Jessica L. Clarbonneau of 50 Glendale Circle is charged with two counts of distribution of crack cocaine, individual counts of possession with intent to distribute for crack, heroin and oxycodone, possession of crack cocaine and alprazolam, and manufacture of crack cocaine.

AMHERST A Chicopee man arrested in Amherst early Friday morning on a charge of trafficking cocaine was released on $2,000 personal surety following his arraignment in Eastern Hampshire District Court later that day, according to the Northwestern district attorney’s office.
Raul A. Ramos, Jr., 28, a passenger in a vehicle stopped on East Pleasant Street, was arrested at 12:30 a.m. on charges of trafficking cocaine, possession of a class B drug, LSD, possession of a class C drug, Alprazolam, and possession of a class C drug, Clonazepam, said Amherst Detective Lt. William Menard.
