Chivalry: Medieval Warfare was one of the most popular multiplayer PC games back in the early 2010s and over the years, the studio has been working on a big sequel to compete with the likes of For Honor and other modern multiplayer brawlers. Chivalry 2 is coming in less than one month, but fans will have a chance to try it out ahead of time in open beta.
Torn Banner Studios has announced this week that Chivalry 2 will be getting an open beta, lasting from the 27th of May until the 1st of June. The game will then release one week later on the 8th of June for PC, Xbox One, Xbox Series X/S, PS4 and PS5.
Publisher Tripwire Interactive and developer Torn Banner Studios today announced that Chivalry 2 will receive a
cross-play open beta, giving all interested players the opportunity of sampling the upcoming game s distinctive brand of first-person melee combat, alongside some archery and chicken throwing. Its
start and end dates are also not that far away, being scheduled for the end of the month.
Players across all platforms will be able to pre-load Chivalry 2 starting on May 26, 2021 at 11:00 AM EDT/4 PM BST. The cross-play open beta will be the final test prior to the full version s June release, having its start date slated for Wednesday, May 27 at 11:00 AM EDT/4 PM BST.
